70's - 90's

I have samples of line art

before I can remember creating them. This is how long the penned image has been in my life. By the mid

60's I longed for my illustrations to tell a story, and the 'panel' illustration came into fruition, a way to convey a series of events in square boxes. Being somewhat rare now, the 'rainbow' tablets were the first storytelling vehicles. Broad pen & ink renderings were the next phase, and one of the genres for which I am best known. Publishing illustrations followed; in children's books and newspapers. The art show and gallery circuit put my drawings in people's homes.
