One of the most unique

forms of art has to be cartooning. Borders do not seem to exist on actually what it is. A cartoon can have a flat 'funny paper' look, or a 'caricature' can be grossly distorted, yet very real in appearance. The art of a 'comic book' is an advanced form of cartooning, merging with illustration. Political cartoons can look very dark, but also very human. The 'blending' of the genre is a broad arena, even posing a challenge to me, when making the decision as to which of my drawings will be within the illustration collection, and which would reside in the cartooning collection. I possess cartoon drawings from when I was 6 years old.
