70's - 90's

One of the most unique

forms of art has to be the cartoon image. Borders do not seem to exist on actually what it is. A cartoon can have a flat 'funny paper' look, or a 'caricature' can be grossly distorted yet very real in appearance. The art

form of the 'comic book' is an advanced form of cartooning, merging with illustration. Political cartoons can look very dark, but also very human. The 'blending' of the genre is truly a broad arena, even posing a challenge to this artist, when making the decision as to which of my drawings will be displayed on the illustration page, or if it which would reside in the cartooning collection. I possess cartoon drawings from when I was 7 years old, possibly before I possessed the consciousness that I was creating them.
